Amber (meaning): It comes in the colors red, yellow and a shade of orange. Green and blue is also found but is very rare. It is a lighter gem stone and softer than perl. It glitters like dew drops in the bright sun light. It is worn for general good luck, financial stability and to ward off danger from some who preform evil doings in witchcraft. It is rich in medicinal values. It is used for curing many ailments. The wearer must refrain from luxuries and temptations of life. Teenagers interested socializing on a large scale or those indulging in luxurious or easy life should not wear this gem. It relieves the wearer of tensions and is good for those interested in nobler types of deeds and social and humanitarian causes. It should be kept away from the heat or sun. Amber is highly recommended for those who often have to meet challenging situations and at times frustrating atmosphere. It is good for those involved in political life and those wisihing to have governmental patronage. It is good for those having birth numbers 1 to 9. It is good for Leos, especially, because you were born between 21st July and 20th August.
I know this is kind of a strange request, and honestly normally I wouldn’t ask.
But here’s the situation.
I got accepted to the college of my dreams a couple of days ago. It’s Bard College at Simon’s Rock, if you want to look it up and see how incredible this school is. It’s an early college, and I’m almost a senior in high school and I’ve already started college courses as well, so I’m kind of closing in on the very last times I’m still eligible to apply. Once I graduate high school, there’s no way I can ever apply again. So it’s kind of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me.
It’s also expensive as all hell, and my family and I are all trying to shake things around and get as much help paying for it as possible. It literally costs more to send me there for a full year than our family has in a year’s income. We have a good chunk of financial aid and a good chunk of scholarships in hand at the moment, but we’re right at the edge of still wondering whether or not sending me is financially possible. We’re already crammed in a tiny apartment and trying to cut down on anything we can because we just recently had to sell a house. Basically, right now we’re pretty tight on money, and I don’t want to be the reason my parents are in debt for the next couple of years, the economy is shit enough as it is.
So here’s the thing. Could you guys just… pray, or do a spell, or think about it really hard, whatever you do, just send a portion of your energies our way for a couple of days? I think honestly it’s just down to that. I’m doing my best as well and my energy is fully devoted to this at the moment. Basically, it would really mean a lot if you would. We’re trying to pull things together best as possible.

Sorry to reblog this again. We’re finding out if I’m approved for a thing called tuition exchange on Monday. If I’m approved for that, it’ll cover up to the entire cost or at least most of it, depending on what Bard wants to give me! Hoping, hoping, hoping. x
